Casa Chicoma is a collection of earth-friendly guest casitas in the Land of Enchantment. Designed based on values of sustainability, connection with nature and a love of dogs, we provide a blissful, feel-good space in which to relax, gaze into the stars, soak up the New Mexican sun and get a good lick in the face.
Outside the casitas, the property features two greenhouses, vegetable gardens, fruit + nut trees, a swimming hole, and a communal dining and fire pit area. Spaces are available to reserve individually, or visit with a larger group and have the peaceful retreat all to yourselves.

Casa Chicoma is located on a 2.5 acre desert oasis. Enjoy your coffee on your sunny patio and then explore our gardens, greenhouses (housing olive, fig + avocado trees!), dip into the chemical-free swimming hole, dine at our outdoor community table, and wander off into the trails beyond… make yourself at home outside your casita in a land where it’s *almost* always sunny.

We harness the powerful New Mexican sun for our electricity, and catch all the rainwater and greywater we can to feed the gardens. The landscape here has been transformed into a fertile oasis that grows organic vegetables, fruit, nut & shade trees, and native flowers & herbs. We make our own compost (yes, with your poop!), to feed this self-healing, self-enriching slice of desert.
